Protect?

I have protected this from editing by non-registered users. There has been a mild history of abusive edits, and since it is our link list it seems particularly susceptible to abuse. I know on other wikis - specifically Wikipedia - there is a stringent standard as to when a page can be so protected - but it seems to me that we should establish our own policy. Requiring people to register seems to be a small hurdle to adding to our links list...

Thoughts?
